From within PowerShades...

1.) Click on the "Open" button

2.) From the Open dialog...

a.) Navigate to the SAWStudio native plugins folder (e.g. c:\SAWStudio\Native_PlugIns\)

b.) Change File name to *.dll to show all dlls

c.) Select the plugin that you would like to update and click Open

3.) Expand the tree view for the dll that you just opened.

4.) Click on All Resources. At this point you will see a list of all bitmap resources stored in the shade/dll that you just opened.

5.) Click on any of the resources listed on the right and you will see the associated bitmap. You can double click the image to edit it as usual.
